We collect the following information when you use the Service:

• Account data: email address, name, and role/title provided at signup
• Usage data: specs generated, credits used, dates of activity
• Uploaded content: garment sketches and images you upload for analysis
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe — we never store card details

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Process your uploaded sketches to generate specifications
• Manage your account and credit balance
• Process payments via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (e.g. password reset)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Uploaded Images

Sketches you upload are stored securely in Supabase Storage and used only to generate your spec sheet. Your images are associated with your account and are not shared with other users or used to train AI models.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate KnitSpec:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Google Gemini — AI image analysis for spec generation
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and data practices.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and saved specs are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and restricted access to databases. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

KnitSpec uses only essential cookies and localStorage for authentication session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via the app.
